Before and After ...

Therefore, take no thought about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought about the things of itself. Sufficient to the day is the trouble thereof.

Matthew 6:34

Good morning ...

Well here it is ... another week has flown right by me. I feel like I barley get to see Monday and I turn around and its Friday. Which makes me think back to my days of employment when I worked for the company that sells everything from A➡Z. I used to wish for Fridays on Monday!

So how ironic is it, that here I am with all those wished days now coming true and are at hand? Bad timing ... Or another lesson on this journey called life. I can only give this piece if advice ... Be careful what you wish for. Take each day as it comes ... Good or bad, as they both are created by God.

You see, without the bad ... We certainly would never appreciate the good. Something that I have learned over these past years. But there is also the school of thought that a bad can ultimately lead to something good and vice versa. I have also learned that as well. And know that indeed, it is as true, and as right as the rain.

So I thought I would show you a few before and afters. When you look at the before, I want you to note that these photos are after I worked on this place for 4 months. The photos of this place how it really looked are just really nasty. So I will spare you at this point.

Side and back

Front after huge rotten deck removed

This place was a huge undertaking ... But the finished project was well worth it. I'm really happy with it. But again, its time to downsize. Notice new block work, grading of land, porch and landscape, just to mention a few things.

Front now!

Close up of my porch design

This was as high as my thigh with weeds.

This too!

Dining and living rooms. Open concept.

Love this photo, it really shows how big the room is!

So there you have my little white cottage. And I guess this place really was not as bad as I thought. Wait until I reveal the one I just bought and signed on this week.
Well, that should keep you wondering just how bad can it be? ... Thanks for stopping by ...
Blessings from the cottage.

    1. No not yet, have not been really working at it. Didn't want to sell until I had a place to go to. Still cold here, but warming up daily.
Thank you for stopping by my friend.
